This is our new blog. Welcome. It's been an eventful summer for Jenn and I. We left our jobs and apartment in DC, drove part of the way to Seattle, explored the pacific northwest, and got married. Now to top off our summer of fun, we are moving to Dubai.
It is amazing how much junk two people can accumulate in a small apartment in just 3 years. We made weekly trips to Goodwill and eventually, there was nothing in our apartment but boxes of stuff that was either a) going with us to Seattle, b) going to dubai, but not going to Seattle c) going to the lake house, meaning we may not see it again for 2 years or d) going to Seattle, but not going to Dubai. There were many piles of stuff. Leaving DC was not easy as we've made many good friends here. Jenn had a very nice going away party that was thrown by the parents and staff at NPCCC. Ms. Jennifer will surely be missed there. Things we will miss in DC include- being close to Pete, Somer, and Winston; Being able to walk to work, beers in the back yard with Nate, Allee, Jesse, Courtney, Matt and Kirsty - especially Jesse and Nate's long discussions about Pirates baseball; Going to DC United games, all our great work friends from NCS and NPS; and going to Indian Lake and relaxing.
